To celebrate this milestone the LIFE community is organising a series of events around Europe during 2017, a date that also marks a quarter century of the EU Habitats Directive and Natura 2000 network of protected areas. A selection of currently running or recently concluded LIFE projects will present the innovative tools and applications they are developing for nature, the environment and climate action. The results and long term benefits for the Environment, the protection of Ecosystems, Human Health and the Economy will be presented.
