The Greek LIFE Task Force (GR LTF) consists of five officers who, together with the two LIFE National Contact Points, provide support to potential beneficiaries interested in submitting proposals under the LIFE Programme. The team has been established in the context of the LIFE Capacity Building Project ‘LIFE14 CAP/GR/000003’ and operates in the Green Fund since July 2016.
Ms Spyridoula Ntemiri is the Climate Change Officer of the GR LTF and will represent the team in the ‘25 years of LIFE: Innovative tools & technologies for Nature, Environmental Protection and Climate Action’ session.
Spyridoula Ntemiri holds a Diploma and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Since December 2007 she has been involved in projects related to the national reporting under the UNFCCC and other relevant European obligations. During the period 2012-2016 she worked at the European Environment Agency, on climate change and air pollution related issues. She has extended experience in the implementation of the Climate Change legislation in Europe, with a special focus on the international MRV policy framework and its link to sustainability policies/targets.
