Efthimios Tagaris holds a Diploma in Physics and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering. His appointments and professional activities include: External Research Collaborator and Adjunct Lecturer at the University of the Aegean, Greece (2002-2005), Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Engineer at CEE, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA (2005-2009), External Research Collaborator at the Environmental Research Lab. INT-RP, NCRC “Demokritos”, Greece (2009-2016), External Research Collaborator and Adjunct Instructor at the University of Western Macedonia (2016 – today). He has received the Outstanding Research Faculty/ Post-doc Award at CEE, Georgia Institute of Technology (2009). Dr. Tagaris research interests include: air pollution, aerosol dynamics, atmospheric chemistry, climate change and climate change impacts.
