Dr E. Stamatakis Emmanuel STAMATAKIS holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a Master in Production Management. He has been working as an external Research Collaborator for various Research Centers in Greece and abroad for over 15 years in the fields of Renewable Energy, Energy Storage and Environmental Protection. He has significant experiences on hydrogen storage and safety issues as he has participated in various National & European projects. During these years, he has been working also as a freelance Researcher & Consultant, providing specialized services relating to the drafting, preparation and coordination of research & demonstration projects in a wide spectrum of areas within various EU and National framework Programmes, such as HORIZON2020, LIFE 2014-2020, MED, INTEREG, EEA GRANTS, ERASMUS+, NSRF, etc. From June 2017 he works for the National Center of Scientific Research "DEMOKRITOS" as an Adjunct Researcher by acquiring a 4-year Industrial Fellowship Program from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, with the aim to establish strong links between the Research Center and Enterprises with operations in Greece, ready to invest in innovative R&D projects.
