Dr. Sergios Papageorgiou Dr. Sergios PAPAGEORGIOU holds a BSc in Chemistry and an MSc and PhD in Oceanography and has been a member of the Membranes for Environmental Separations Laboratory (MESL) in NCSR Demokritos for over 10 years. His main research interests lie in the area of nano-porous materials and membranes development, as well as the physicochemical characterization and performance evaluation of materials for gas adsorption/separation and water remediation applications. He has 25 publications in international peer reviewed scientific journals with more than 300 citations (h factor 9), is the co-author of two book chapters and has worked for the successful implementation of more than 10 National and EU funded projects.
