Short Bio

Vice President of ECPC-European Cancer Patient Coalition and President of the Hellenic Cancer Federation-ELLOK.

Hellenic Cancer Federation-ELLOK is the cancer patient voice in Greece with 31 member organizations. ELLOK advocates for cancer policy and improved cancer care for all who need it.

ECPC-European Cancer Patient Coalition is the largest European umbrella organization in cancer with more than 430 member organizations. ECPC works for a Europe of equality, where all European cancer patients have timely and affordable access to the best treatment and care available, throughout their life.

Kathi is a Public Affairs Consultant with extensive experience in regulatory affairs, marketing and communications. As ECPC Vice President, she represents ECPC at several high level EU policy committees and working groups, she is a member of the Steering Committee of ENCePP and PCWP/EMA, member of the Steering Committee of HTAi’s Patients and Citizens Involvement Group. She is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Compassionate Health Care.

Kathi is a twice breast cancer survivor and a cancer patient rights advocate. She has served as Director in cancer patient organizations in Greece and abroad and introduced cancer policy advocacy in Greek cancer patient organizations, founding and leading standing committees on cancer patient rights, policy advocacy, HTA, digital health, shared decision making, biobanking, patient involvement in research.
