Ms. Siropoulou has Executive Education from Harvard Business School on Innovation and New Business Ventures, from MIT on Leading Product Development and Kellogg on Digital Strategy. She holds an MBA in Marketing Strategy from University of Texas at Austin.
in 2010 Niki founded the highly acclaimed TEDxAcademy Forum in Greece. A think tank on Innovation, Technology and Social Capital, creating a community of 50K followers, 300+ speakers, 50 organizers and advisors, 50 participating companies, 600 volunteers and 3.3 mio viewers.
In parallel, Niki has founded the Rising Stars Mentoring and Entrepreneurship program, with the support of 30 prominent business executives, participating corporations, technologists, investors and entrepreneurs from Greece and the US with strong connections in Silicon Valley and major US research institutes.

Kris Østergaard is the co-founder and Chief Learning & Innovation Officer of SingularityU Nordic, a country partner of Singularity University, as well as a faculty member of Singularity University.
As the Chief Learning & Innovation Officer of SingularityU Nordic, Kris is responsible for designing and running education and innovation programs for organizations as well as startups in SingularityU Nordic’s +7,000 square meter innovation campus based in Copenhagen.
Laila Pawlak
Laila Pawlak is a faculty member and moderator at SU as well as the co-founder & CEO of SingularityU Denmark.
As the CEO of SingularityU Denmark Laila heads up a 75.000 square foot innovation hub based in Copenhagen including a variety of educational programs, accelerator programs, the Scandinavian faculty, maker space, biolab, and co-working for both startups and corporates leveraging exponential technologies for positive impact.
Laila is passionate about human centered design and along with her partner Kris Oestergaard, Laila is the author of The Fundamental 4s: How to Design Extraordinary Customer Experiences in an Exponential World as well as they published the Danish version of the bestseller Exponential Organizations.
Kallissa Apostolidou,

Kallissa joined the board of Raycap, having worked for the United Nations for almost 10 years, in Switzerland, the Middle East and Africa. She is currently heading the Corporate Social Responsibility branch of the company.
She also sits on the board of various philanthropic initiatives, of Oxford University’s Hellenic Advisory Board, of UNESCO’s Association of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and is a member of the organizing team of the TEDTalks in Greece.
Kallissa received her Masters in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School, Tufts University (USA 2008) and her Bachelors degree in Philosophy from Smith College (USA 2004).
Catalina Schveninger
Global Head of Learning
Catalina Schveninger, Global Head of Learning, joined Vodafone in their London HQ in March 2014. Catalina’s team powers the company’s digital transformation by developing the critical skills for today and tomorrow. Previously, Catalina was HR Director of T Mobile in The Netherlands.
She began her international HR career in 2002 as a member of the Human Resources Leadership Program at GE and held different roles, including the HR Director of GE’s Security EMEA division.
A mother of 2, Catalina is a passionate advocate for the attraction and development of women in organizations and an avid learner of all things AI. A native of Romania, she holds a Masters in Communications from the University of Bucharest and has lived and worked in six countries.
Jyotica Virmani
XPrize Senior Director, Ocean XPRIZE.
Dr. Jyotika Virmani joined XPRIZE in 2014 with more than 10 years of experience in the oceanic and atmospheric sciences, including both research and leadership positions. As Senior Director in Prize Operations, she is the Prize Lead for the next Ocean XPRIZE. Prior to this, she was the Director of Technical Operations for the Wendy Schmidt Ocean Health XPRIZE. To these positions, Dr. Virmani brings her scientific and technical expertise and knowledge of ocean and atmospheric observing systems to help address the challenging problems we face in understanding the Earth’s climate system.
Before joining XPRIZE, Dr. Virmani served as the Associate Director of the Florida Institute of Oceanography, as a Senior Scientist at the Met Office (the UK’s national weather service), and as the Executive Director of the Florida Coastal Ocean Observing System Consortium. In these roles, she has worked with the scientific community to observe, understand, and forecast the marine and atmospheric environments.
Dr. Virmani has also served on the Scientific Planning Committee for the joint AGU/ASLO/TOS Ocean Sciences 2014 Meeting, on the Board of Directors for the Southeast Atlantic Coastal Ocean Observing System Regional Association, and on the Board of Directors for the Pier Aquarium/Secrets of the Sea.
Dr. Virmani has a Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography from the University of South Florida, where she worked on both blue water and coastal oceanography. She won a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship which allowed her to earn a M.S. in Marine Environmental Science (Atmospheric Science) from SUNY at Stony Brook. She also has a B.Sc. in Physics from Imperial College London and is an Associate of the Royal College of Science and a Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society. In her spare time she maintains a humorous and informative tropical storm blog.
