Dimosthenis Stamopoulos was born in 1973 in Aegio, Greece. He graduated the ‘School of Electrical and Computer Engineering’ and received his MSc and PhD in Physics from the ‘School of Applied Mathematics and Physics’ of the ‘National Technical University of Athens’. Currently, he is Associate Professor at the ‘Department of Physics’ of ‘National and Kapodistrian University of Athens’ and Research Associate at the ‘Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology’ of ‘National Center for Scientific Research-Demokritos’. He is interested in both basic research and applied topics on magnetism, superconductivity, piezoelectricity and biomedical issues with more than 90 articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
