Dr. Stelios Thomopoulos Dr Stelios C. A. Thomopoulos holds a Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece and an M.S. degree and a Ph.D. degree both in Electrical & Computer Engineering, from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has authored or co-authored over 150 publications in peer reviewed professional journals, proceedings and books with over 750 citations. He has served as a premier consultant and advisor to the US Air Force and Navy, the French CNRS and DRET, to the US and Greek industry, and has coordinated and participated in numerous EU, National and US research projects. He is currently the Director of Institute of the Informatics and Telecommunications of NCSR Demokritos as well as the Director of Research and the Head of the Integrated Systems Laboratory of this same Institute.
