Dr. Athanasios Stoubos Dr. A. Stoubos holds a PhD (1990) and a MSc (1985) from Univ. Libre de Bruxelles, von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (VKI), Belgium , Dipl. Chem. Eng. (1984) National Technical University of Athens, Greece. His previous professional activities were at the Nuclear Center of Mol, Belgium (PAHR Analyst 1988-1989); Post-doctoral Fellow (VKI, 1990); Visiting Research Associate (Univ. Southern California, USA, 1991); Research Associate (Inst. Phys. Chem., NCSR Demokritos, Greece, 1993-1995), Senior Researcher (Inst. Nuc. Tech., NCSR Demokritos, Greece, 1995-2001), Vice President, Center for Renewable Energy Sources, Greece. (2010–2013). His scientific output includes more than 135 publications in international refereed Journals, 25 chapters in books and more than 150 presentations in international Conferences. He was Project Coordinator for various European and National R&D projects, Industrial R&D in USA (Univ. of Southern California) and Europe (Belgium, Greece). He was Invited expert by European Commission, DoE-USA, NSF-USA, French, Greek, Italian Portuguese and Cypriot R&D agencies. He served as Vice Director of the Inst. Nuclear Technology & Radiation Protection, National Research Center Demokritos.
