Short Bio

I studied Biology (B.Sc.) in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Physiology (PH.D.) in the University of Oxford. After six years in academic research in the UK I returned to Greece for family reasons. My first business position was in the pharmaceuticals industry (B. Niadas and Sons S.A. Pharmaceuticals). Within two years I decided to pursue a business career instead of an academic one and aimed at a position in a multinational environment that would provide continuous education, opportunity for growth and international exposure.

After fourteen years in the pharmaceutical industry, in multinational companies, where I eventually occupied high-level marketing & sales managerial positions, I turned into the health services industry for two years: Marketing and Corporate Communication Director in IASO S.A. I then made a shift in my career and pursued managerial positions in the services industry mainly focused on restructuring and building sales organisations: one year Corporate Sales Director of LYKOS Group (IT outsourcing and printing services) with the objective to build a new corporate sales division, one and a half years Deputy Managing Director in FINTRUST S.A., a LYKOS Group company (mainly collection, telemarketing and call centre services), with the objective to explore the potential for new services.
Last managerial position: General Manager in Scientific Publications Ltd. a subsidiary of C&C International Group of Companies and Business Development Director for the Group.

I have now started my own company MINDWORK Business Solutions Ltd. that provides consultancy services in the health sector and related services including managerial effectiveness, management of change and communication strategy, continuous education, and publishing.
