Short Bio

Christina Thomopoulos graduated with a BFA in Studio Art, and minor in Africana Studies from New York University (2011). She has participated in a documentary filmmaking seminar at KET (2014-15). Her work often combines an art practice with fields of research and education. Her work often takes place in public spaces, but when not has also occurred at The Wild Project, NY (2011), the Syros International Film Festival (2013), Athens Biennale (2013), YNKB, Copenhagen (2014), and Abafun Studio Accra, Ghana (2009). She currently works as an Associate Researcher at the Integrated Systems Laboratory of the National Center of Scientific Research "Demokritos", as part of the creative team developing the Knossos iGuide pilot project. Her work includes film-making, concept design, script writing, photography and editing.
