Presentation Title: Technologies for Creative Industries: From idea conception to production

Abstract

In recent years Europe has been confronted with several macroeconomic challenges, such as the financial crisis and a stronger global competition, as well as internal socio‐economic challenges. The Europe 2020 Strategy highlighted the need for our continent to take an innovative path to respond to these challenges by building upon one of Europe’s key strengths; its talented and diverse creative population.
Creative industries require imaginative yet dynamic solutions such as the integration of user-centred approaches, the innovative use of ICT, the design of new services for increased social inclusion to increase their competitiveness as well as contributing to broader cultural diversity.INTRASOFT International SA through its R&D solutions sets to implement methods and tools, which supports the entire lifecycle of the innovation process, from idea conception to idea implementation. Key benefits include direct innovation outcomes such as increased speed to market, increased product quality, and a reduced risk of innovation efforts not meeting customer needs.
